The Erasmus+ incoming students from the University College of Teacher Education Styria had the possibility to spend an active welcome weekend from the 9th until the 11th of March in the mountains in Eisenerzer Ramsau, in Austria.
In the summer semester of 2018, the University College of Teacher Education Styria in Graz hosts an international group of 14 students from Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Estonia, Grece, the Netherlands, and Germany. The weekend was a great possibility for the team of the Institute of Diversity Studies and International Relations and the students to get to know each other in various team building activities.
The international students were lucky because the weather was wonderful and there was a lot of snow. On Saturday the students had the possibility to do sports like cross-country skiing and snowshoe-hiking. Another highlight of the weekend was the very creative snowman competition. The evenings were spent in the workshop “European Dimension in Culture, Society and Education” which is part of their Erasmus+ International Teacher Competence course.
Big thanks to our students’ union for supporting this event!
