The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has launched a new edition of the “Your Europe, Your Say” event, in order to give its young participants a space to share their ideas concerning the best way to protect our planet.

33 schools (from the 28 EU Member States and the five EU candidate countries) will take part in this year’s event, which will simulate an international COP conference. There, all participants will have the chance to share their views on the best practices to deal with the current climate crisis, as well as how to best get to the 2050 climate neutral ambitions.

Place and date: Brussels, on the 19th and 20th of March, 2020.

Who can apply? Any secondary-level school, in one of the 28 Member States or one of the five candidate countries.

When is the deadline for applications? November 18, 2019.

How to apply? Through the following link: http://cdweb.eesc.europa.eu/eesceuropaeu-ae77k/pages/iixeqjteembfgbqvqbd6g.html

Who will be the winner? The EESC will select one school per country, through a random drawing. Then, selected schools can send three pupils and one teacher to Brussels.
