Applications are open for “Your Europe, Your Say!” (YEYS), the yearly youth event organised by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and aimed at 16 to 18 year olds from all over Europe.
The ninth edition of the event will take place on 15-16 March 2018 in Brussels, and its topic will be the “United in diversity: a younger future for European culture”.
Schools from all over Europe can apply, and one for each Member State and candidate country will be selected by lot. The selected schools will be able to send three students to Brussels in order to discuss about European culture and its role in their lives, as well as to make recommendations to the UE on the future policies in the cultural sector. The EESC will cover travel and accommodation expenses for the three students and one accompanying teacher.
