This year, eTwinning wants to focus on daily education in rural and peripheral areas in Europe, especially when it comes to remote areas; as a virtual portal, eTwinning can be a resourceful tool in these places.

eTwinning will present different articles regarding this topic analyzing, among other things, the school systems and locations in those areas. It will start with two schools: one in France and one in Finland, both of them using eTwinning for international cooperation, virtual mobility and school development. In October an Austrian school will also be presented.

If you want to share your experience with eTwinning in your school, you can write an email to etwinning@oead.at until the end of August.
