EPALE Conference 2019 “Politische Erwachsenenbildung in Österreich und Europa: Ziele, Methoden und Zukunftsperspektiven”
On June 13 2019, the national EPALE-Koordinierungsstelle and the Erasmus+ Erwachsenenbildung invite you to assist to the EPALE Conference 2019 “Politische Erwachsenenbildung in Österreich und Europa: Ziele, Methoden und Zukunftsperspektiven” (Political Adult Education in Austria and Europe: Goals, Methods and Future Perspectives), which will take place in Vienna.
In order to reinforce democracy in Europe, as well as cohesion among countries, the promotion of active citizenship plays a major role. In this sense, adult education is of great importance, since they are the ones who will transfer knowledge concerning politics, political processes and social structures.
Therefore, this conference will focus on the topic of adult education, explaining what it means and how can it be implemented, as well as creating meeting spaces to exchange knowledge. Furthermore, other topics such as civic education, media literacy and the Erasmus+ projects will also be on the program.
