Erasmus+ Incoming students at the Mayor’s reception in Graz

The Erasmus+ incoming students of the University College of Teacher Education Styria from Spain, Estonia, Hungary, Croatia, the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic were invited to a reception with the mayor of Graz on the 26th of April 2018.
Unfortunately, the Mayor could not be there so City Counselor Mag. Dr. Peter Riedler took over. He gave a warm and welcome opening speech about the city and student’s life in Graz. Besides his speech, two students of the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz talked about their Erasmus way of life and the difference to their own country. Before the party started City Counselor Mag. Dr. Peter Riedler wanted to state that the City of Graz is very fond of the fact that so many students chose Graz as their Erasmus City, he thanked everybody and stated: “You arrive as strangers but leave as friends”. Afterwards, they organized some local food and drinks and there was time for networking.
Once again, the mayor’s reception was a great networking event for international students. Big thanks to our Mayor Siegfried Nagl, City counselor Dr. Peter Riedler and the city of Graz.
