The Erasmus incoming students of the University College of Teacher Education Styria from Greece, Hungary, Spain, Czech Republic,Gran Canaria and Germany were invited to a reception with the mayor of Graz on the 12th April 2016.
Siegfried Nagl, the mayor of Graz, gave an amazing speech about the city and the student’s life in Graz. He motivated our students, because he was full of energy and he said we can change the world! He kindly thanked all students for coming to Graz. Mr. Nagl brought up how important it is for him to welcome the students personally!
Besides the mayor’s speech in the wonderful city hall, Aikaterini Pittarokoili, one Erasmus Incoming from Greece currently studying at the University College of Teacher Education Styria, also addressed the international students with her warm greeting words.
“…Erasmus has its ups and downs. The new friends, the new teachers, the new language the most of the times, the different parties are so fascinating but they are not the unique because going to Erasmus and leaving your country means that when you will be back you will be certainly much more mature than before…” This is only a small part of your wonderful speech.
This reception was a great meeting place for international students, so thank you again for everything Mr. Siegfried Nagl.
