Teacher training in Slovenia

Adding New Quality to Learning: Entrepreneurial Mindset at School by Developing Subject Teaching. The YEDAC Approach. How do we prepare children for the future in a rapidly changing environment?Schools need to help them find their talents and strengthen their personalities and equip them with European key competences. For the new labour market we need to provide opportunities for them to develop their sense of initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset. The European CIP-project YEDAC has developed a teacher training course and material that supports entrepreneurial acting in ordinary subject teaching:
- An entrepreneurial learning model creates awareness and understanding for the five categories that have to be considered when planning entrepreneurial education.
- An entrepreneurial learning process model helps students to find and develop ideas according to the needs of their environment.
- A toolkit and handbook for teachers provides support in turning these ideas into action.
- An entrepreneurial learning model necessary conditions in the environment and helps in this way to organize them.
As a positive attitude of the whole school is an important success factor we welcome school principals with members of teaching staff.
