Erasmus+ Exchange Programme ‘Games Teaching in Physical Education’
The Erasmus+ programme “Games Teaching in Physical Education” at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences offers Physical Education students a practice-oriented international learning experience during the Spring semester.
This full-time exchange programme (20-30 ECTS) combines theoretical coursework with extensive practical training. Students explore game-based teaching approaches, including the design of learning environments and innovative teaching methods.
A central component of the programme is a teaching internship at a bilingual secondary school, where participants gain hands-on experience in an English-speaking environment. Students work closely with Dutch peers and actively apply their knowledge in real classroom settings.
In addition, participants may choose the elective module Youth Sports Development, which includes placements in local sports clubs and the opportunity to develop their own initiatives. The programme also features external activities and collaborative projects.
When: the upcoming Spring semester
English level: B2 or higher required
